The world is made of Real Estate and People. When you step outside, you are standing on land or real estate. When you are in a car and look from side to side, you see real estate like houses, churches, stores, office buildings, restaurants, gasoline service stations and other types of real estate. We need real estate and real estate needs us.

About the Author
Sharon B. Harbin is a real estate appraiser with a career that extends over 40 years. Being a real estate professional has been a lifelong passion which has allowed her to be an entrepreneur. She is the author of Appreciate Your Real Estate - Creating and Sustaining Value, a nonfiction book that explains what makes real estate have value. She also authored MY GRANDFATHER’S BIG FARM, a true story about a 100-acre farm that her Grandfather purchased in North Carolina.- It is beautifully illustrated to show young people a positive aspect of real estate and being an entrepreneur. It also shows that it is possible to leave an inheritance to your children’s children.
ABOUT THE ILLUSTRATOR
Melissa Patton is an illustrator and digital artist who has created artwork for children’s books and nonfiction. Her love of creating computer graphic started in childhood and has only grown from her studies in computer science and studio art. She believes in the power of children seeing themselves reflected in illustrated stories.
